Terms of Service

By using thefrnd, you agree to these terms. They are intentionally short and plain.

The service

thefrnd is a companion app for reflection, journaling, and guided meditation. Your companion is an AI assistant — it is not a clinician. If you are in crisis, please contact a trained professional or your local emergency line.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for the content you create. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Privacy & data.

Acceptable use

Don't use thefrnd to harm yourself or others, to generate illegal content, or to abuse the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Subscriptions

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel from Profile → Billing. Refunds follow the policy of the payment provider you used.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use means you accept the new terms.
